MS150 Denver

Like last year, Leigh is riding the MS 150. She is getting ready with regular rides and raising the funds. She has the following message for you all. Some of you may know how I feel about MS, so please help donate for this good cause.

I am cycling in the MS150 ride June 26-27. This is my 2nd year riding in the MS150. While I consider participating in and completing the ride a personal achievement, I find that my desire to reach my fundraising goals has truly increased in importance. I am honored that as I ride in this event, I am riding with other folks who have been diagnosed with MS and are still capable of participation. In addition, there are many people who have MS who cheer me along the ride route and extend their thanks for the efforts the riders make in participation and fundraising. Having the chance to make a direct connection with people who benefit from this event is pretty awesome!

The ride is a 150-mile ride from the Denver area to Fort Collins and back. Completing the ride will be a means to help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change and help people with MS and their families to lead powerful and productive lives. Multiple sclerosis affects people in the prime of their lives, between the ages of 20 and 50. Every hour someone is newly diagnosed and more than 2.5 million people worldwide live with this unpredictable disease.

Please join me in the movement to do something about multiple sclerosis. I have set a fundraising goal of $750.00 for this cause. It is easy and convenient to make a donation on line. To donate on-line, follow these directions:

www.bikems.org.

Select "Sponsor a Rider"

Select "Search for a Participant" and enter my name Leigh Janko, enter my home state of Colorado and click on the button "Find a Participant" and simply follow the instructions to complete your donation.

Thank you for your support and helping me to do something about MS!
